Rare and early Rookwood Pottery vase decorated with two geese in a Mahogany glaze with a striking goldstone effect. EXCELLENT CONDITION. There is a professional restoration to the upper rim. No other chips, cracks, damage or repair of any kind. Bottom marked with logo, date mark, shape mark, R for red clay, incised No 1 and cipher for Matt Daly. Vase is 9 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" wide.
