For sale I have a Lovely Petite piece of Art Pottery made by Marblehead Pottery of Marblehead, Mass. The Piece of Art Pottery is a Diminutive Size and it is Known as a Diminutive Squat Vase. The Squat Vase is considered a Cabinet piece. The Vase stands 1 3/4" tall and is 3 1/2" in diameter.

The Vase displays that Rich Matte Speckled Gray Glaze that is not all so commonly found. I believe that the speckling is caused by the Red Clay peeking through the Matte Gray outer Glaze. This glaze is also called "Monochrome" by the Marblehead Collector community. The inside of the pot has a beautiful Robins Egg Blue waterproofing high Gloss interior Glaze. When you hold this little Pot in your Hand you can feel the Quality and strength of the piece.

The Vase is considered to be excellent condition as there are no cracks, nicks, chips or dings. The only issue is some rust stains on the inside of the Vase. This adorable little piece was used as it was intended for. This cannot be seen when display. It can only be seen when you are looking inside the pot. The Vase is signed on the bottom with Marblehead's Impressed Ship Logo along with the Capital Letters "M" and "P" for Marblehead Pottery. Those of you who collect Marblehead Pottery and want a Lovely example do not let this one Pass you by. This would look just wonderful in that Stickley, Mission Style Arts and Crafts Bookcase. This piece was made Circa 1904-1915.
