Mottled orange lustre glaze small vase by Wiltshire & Robinson, Stoke on Trent. Early piece, dating circa 1896-1906. Later they dropped the W & R part, and used only the Carlton Ware name, with the distinctive signature script name mark beginning around 1925. This beautiful little vase has a pearlescent interior neck with gold band, and a gold foot-rim. Measures 12.8 cm high by 6.3 cm diameter (5 inches by 2.1/2 inches). Very elegant classical shape. Excellent condition, minor wear to gilding of neck rim band. No chips, cracks or restoration.
