Unusual piece from Bretby Art Pottery (Tooth & Co), England. Green celadon exterior with dragon in relief curling around the vase. Inside is a pale lemon glaze. Carries the Bretby mark with the semi circular sun and "England" so dates around 1897-1900. Usually "Made in England" is used in the 20th century. Very much is the design style of a Japanese or Chinese vase. Measures 23 5 cm high and 13 cm diameter. Excellent condition, no damage at all.
