Mint condition--no chips, cracks or repairs--on this unusual example of North Carolina Cole pottery. As shown, this vase features a rainbow glaze on redware clay and has its original Souvenir of Portland, Maine label. This is certainly an example of North Carolina art pottery and we attribute it to CC Cole.
This vase measures 4 3/4" Tall and, again, is free of damage. There is a cork on the inside which we cannot remove and we are guessing that the piece originally was a jar. An interesting piece for your collection.
