Antique Liberty & Co : A wonderful Nippon Art Deco hand painted Vase 2 - C.1920
A wonderful Art Deco hand painted Japanese Vase made for Liberty & Co heavily gilded and jewelling with Bird motif
in the Egyptian hieroglyphics style so probably made around the time of the discovery of Tutankhamun 1923
We have two very similar Vases with slight difference around top rim so we are selling them separately
6.5 inches (16.5cm) height X 4.5 inches (11.5cm) dia approx
Good Antique Condition with light wear commensurate with age and mentioned for accuracy
Marked underneath L & Co - Nippon in green and with artists touch mark
Circa : Early 1920's
