A very fine pair of English porcelain vases, made by Spode. Circa 1810 to 1815. Painted in beautiful and bright Imari colours and decorated with stylized bamboo and flowering plants in an open garden setting near water and a zig-zag fence, in the highly collected 967 pattern. The rim and bases are embellished with raised "jewels" in pure white porcelain. An excellent, clear mark, in iron-red, under glaze. In excellent condition. The pair of vases measure 6.25" X 4.25"
