A Garniture of Three Derby Mayflower Vases & Covers, Circa 1770-75 The vases have a quadrangular baluster shape with a square neck and are set upon a square plinth. ;The body is completely covered with applied schneeballen (may flowers) tightly packed moulded florets overlaid with branches bearing berries in imitation of Meissen Schneeballen wares. ;A quadrangular-shaped domed cover is surmounted by a pointed berry finial. ; The whole painted naturalistically in enamel colours, green on the florets and red on the berries with gilt highlights on the rim and foot.
