MORIAGE pottery Phoenix and Peony floral enameled polychrome details with heavy and fine beaded enamel moriage, on orange peel ground. Meticulously applied jewel like beading is exceptionally well done, with heavy Ruri Yu (oxidized cobalt color) and rich primary color glazes.
The vase is supported on three elephant like heads. A stellar collectors piece, large and bold. 19th century or earlier.
