This is a nice, early Wedgwood calendar tile in a brown transfer. Made by Wedgwood for Jones McDuffee & Stratton, Pottery Merchants, Boston, USA. The front has an image of The John Hancock House, Boston, Built 1737. Demolished 1863. The condition is very good, with crazing and roughness to the edges and corners, as seen in the photos.
