This is a wonderful piece of architectural faience by the Rookwood Pottery of Cincinnati Ohio. The central oval measure 14'' x 24'' and features a cherubic child kneeling and holding a huge spray of flowers. The highly dimensional design is glazed in matte colors of blue, purple, green, yellow, tan and brown. This central panel is surrounded by a molded border in an ivory white. The condition is excellent. It has a few small dings and chips and the usual crazing. It is mounted on board so is ready to display. This beautiful Arts and Crafts piece would look just as good surrounded by Art deco or Traditional furnishings.
