This is a fabulous old tile by the Enfield Pottery and Tile Works of Enfield, Pennsylvania. It is described in their 1928 catalog as ''Morrice Dancers in low relief. After ivory carvings in the British Museum. Date, middle ages'' design number 301-3. The tile itself measures 9'' x 4'' and is in wonderful condition with a flake to the left border. It is in a new dark oak frame and is ready to hang on the wall. This is a fine tile, and works by Enfield surface only rarely.
