Victorian, circa 1880 Pair Minton & Co. Majolica tiles decorated with central flower, stylized leaves and twisted rope bands. Bright colorful glazes. Raised maker''s marks ''MINTON & CO. STOKE ON TRENT'' to reverse. Good. Tile 1: Minor nibbles to reverse edges. Very slight wear to front. Kiln effects: a few tiny pops to the glaze. Retouched flake to one green leaf. Tile 2: No restoration. Minor nibbles to top and reverse edges. Very slight wear to front. Kiln effects: stray piece of green glaze and tiny firing hole to central blue flower; glaze accumulation to small section of green ground. 6ins by 6ins wide
