This beautiful antique tile panel dates from the mid 1800''s. It consists of five tiles, a central medallion surrounded by four borders. The true majolica glaze colors are bright and vibrant. With it''s ecclesiastic design, it''s original intent was probably for a church. It has been professionally mounted and framed in a gold and cherry finish. The faces of the tiles are unworn, with no scuffing the the glossy glazes. There is minimal chipping at some of the tile edges.
