Self framed and covered in bright glossy polychrome glazes, this viking ship tile was made at the Franklin Pottery and Tile Works of Landsdale Pennsylvania. The face of this tile is factory pierced to enable hanging wire. The back has the familiar combed back, but is unmarked. The condition is excellent with one small flake on the left edge.
