Here is a nice large tile by Royal Delft. Picturing an eagle with it''s wings and talons outstretched, the chrystalline tangerine glaze sparkles in the sunlight. This is a tile that would look great in an arts and crafts interior surrounded by mission furniture. The back has the inkstamps Holland, which would indicate this tile was made for the American market. The Pardee Tile company was the major distributor for these tiles in the 1920''s. The condition is very good. It has a rub to one corner and a short stable firing line on the right side.
