This large panel by Harris Strong consists of six six inch tiles in a conch shell design. The tiles sit atop a peach linen matte and is housed in a painted wooden frame. The thick glazes on the tiles are bubbly and dimensional. This is from Strong''s later period, after his move to Maine. The influence of the sea shore certainly shows on this piece. It is a perfect accent for a beach house, or pool or bath. The condition is excellent. The wood frame shows a few light scuffs.
