This encaustic style tile is made with different colored cements. The color extends partially through the body of the piece, enabling them to be used for flooring. Dubbed a ''Cuban'' tile, many of these were used in the 1920''s homes of Florida, although there were many manufacturers of these in the USA as well. The condition is very good with a couple of depressions and flakes on the edges. Status: For Sale Reference#: 04100503 Condition: very good Year: c. 1920 Height: 4 in. (10.16 cm) Depth: .75 in.
