This thick, red clay, faience tile is covered in a thick white glaze with blue decoration in the Delft style. This tile shows a windmill with a ship sailing in the background. The design is bordered by circles of dark blue, with a fleur de lis in each corner. Made by the Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville Ohio, the back bears the early circular mark.
