This design borrowed from Walter Crane is made in cuerda seca in the Arts and Crafts style on a thick faience clay body. Picturing a maiden and a dancing king, the condition is very good. It has a few flakes off the bottom edge and a craze line running up through the woman''s dress ( the line does not extend to the back). The back has the impressed mark ''AETCO FAIENCE''.
