This large grill or ventilator tile was painted in pink and green translucent glazes and fired. The colors remind me of old fashioned ribbon candy. The central flower has glittering gold and red petals. Measuring 8 inches square and 2 inches thick the tile has a slight curve, which helps to keep it stable when displayed on a shelf.
