A lovely portrait tile of a woman with her hair pulled back. The back is unmarked although a similar example can be seen in the book American Art tile by Norman Karlson on page 33 and is attributed to the Newburgh Tile Co. of Newburgh NY. The condition is very good with a few light rubs to the high points and a flake off the edge.
