This antique tile was made at the Moravian Pottery and Tile Works founded by Henry Chapman Mercer. It is pictured in their 1912 catalog as the ''Dragon of Castle Acre''. This tile is covered in a nice brown and blue glossy glaze. The condition is very good. It has 2 small edge chips and flaking off the back. It is unmarked as are most of the old, original tiles.
