A beautiful blue iris flower sits against an ivory background on this old antique tile made by the Flint Faience Tile Company of Flint Michigan. The company had ony a few years of production before they stopped making tiles and began making spark plugs for the auto industry. This tile has been placed in a new Arts and Crafts style frame made from quatersawn oak and stained a deep mission brown. The condition of the tiles is very good. It has a few edge chips that are covered by the frame and one glaze flake on the face (in one of the leaves). It remains a great item that is all ready to hang on the wall of your bungalow.
