Three antique transfer tiles are encased in an original iron (or steel?) frame with wooden bun feet to make this extra special trivet. The colorful tiles depict stylized seedpods and flowers between interlocking borders. They were made by Webbs Tileries, which was only in operation between 1870 and 1900. This piece''s use was probably more decorative than utilitarian and remains in excellent condition with very little wear to the face of the tiles.
