Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica teapot/kettle and cover decorated with fish and seaweed on a cobalt blue ground. Cover with shell finial and steam hole. Handle and spout molded as brown coral branches. Cream interior. Cream underside with stilt marks and a painted mark. Generally good. Pot: Staining to crazing on interior from tea. Repaired crack and restored chip to spout. Repaired crack to handle. Restored flake to rim. Cover: No restoration. Small bruise to flange. Kiln effect: small glaze pops to cobalt ground. 7.5ins high
