Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica teapot in the form of an elephant. Lilac ribbon handle and bow finial on top of a turquoise cover. Lilac interior. Three stilt marks and a painted mark to gray base. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Kiln effect: touch mark to handle. Retouching to one side of elephant. Cover has been professionally re-made. 5.5ins high, 8.5ins wide
