Circa 1840 Chinese Export Sacred Bird and Butterfly nice size teapot. This rare teapot in chinese export porcelain is in the sacred bird and butterfly pattern. Very nicely decorated in orange colors with birds, butterflies and plants. Teapots in this pattern are not as plentiful as are ones in the famille rose and blue canton patterns. This nice dainty teapot measures 3 1/2" in height and is 5" from top of handle to the end of the spout. Very Good Condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. Recently purchased out of a Florida Estate.
