An early 20th century coffee set code marked for 1928. Transfer print blue and white "Dragon & Phoenix" pattern. The incorporation of both these mythical beasts was to represent the union of the Chinese emperor and empress. Comprising 4 cups with saucers, coffee pot, sugar and creamer. Demi-tasse size.
