Lovely Limoge chocolate pot. As graceful a piece of Victoriana as I have seen. Delicate, hand painted flowers and greenery done in soft pastel shades of pink and green, on a white body that is also shaded in pink and green, finished with sprays of bright brushed gold, all on a fine French porcelain blank. This fine tall pot has all the extra detail we expect in the finest 19th century porcelain from it's wonderful professional decoration to the shape of it's handle and spout. Fully marked by the well known Ahrenfeldt Company, Mark #3. Fresh from a local Brooklyn, New York estate. Good original condition with no damage or repairs, what looks like a crack or discoloration in the photos was a mark left by old scotch tape which we have successfully removed. 9 1/2" tall x 7 1/4" widest.
