Antique : A wonderful Cauliflower Teapot - 19th century
A wonderful Cauliflower Teapot (identical the the National Trust Teapot - see link) - From a good Private source
Circa 19th century - internally has 6 spout holes that appear uneven, pottery is quite thin and has a 'W' hand incised into the clay.
7 inches (18cm) width X 5 inches (12.5cm) height approx
Good condition - finial has been off and a small narrow flake inside rim where lid sits - Has some line on base but the do not go through to the other side and the pot when tapped sounds fine (mentioned for accuracy). We have not tried to clean it but believe that the brown crazing internally will come out easily
