Outstanding example of American Belleek which is the forerunner of Lenox. Lenox was refused the right to use the word American Belleek as Belleek was an Irish porcelain and it confused the market. This is a truly lovely set with a little bit of Greek Gothic in it's style. It has a lovely cream base, creamy light blue background with rose pink roses on an artist signature (in the most difficult place under the handles "Florence" artistic design. It would compliment a fireplace mantle and be so inviting as a great conversation piece. Lenox has always had a wonderfully soft and warm base color to its porcelain, these pieces depict this porcelain
