Antique English/Scotish Pottery : A rare set of four Prestonpans Toby Cruets - late 19th/early 20thC
A wonderful and as I have been reading rare set of four pottery Prestonpans Toby Cruets. Each brightly decorated wearing an orange jacket and lemon breeches, two having removable hats and each with willow blue and white transfers around
the top and bottom. Comprising of a Salt, Pepper, Vinegar and Mustard
Probably Staffordshire early 20th century but could also be Scotish - please see links below
Circa: late 19th / early 20th century
Good Antique Condition - slightest age faults mentioned for accuracy only - buyer will be delighted - no cork in pepper and a little light crazing as expected
Average height 5.5 inches (14cm)
A similar set of cruets is in the Collection of the National Museums Scotland
