20thC, date cipher for December 1929 Wedgwood Majolica oval grape and strawberry platter with green strawberry leaves, pink flowers and strawberries, and purple grapes on yellow ground. Brown twig molded rim and handles. Ochre reverse. Three stilt marks inside the foot with impressed maker''s marks ''WEDGWOOD ETRURIA ENGLAND'' and date cipher ''12S29'' for December 1929. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Small flake to the foot. Slight wear to interior. Kiln effect: craze lines to the reverse. 9.25ins by 13ins wide
