Victorian, circa 1870 Minton Majolica oval platter or tea tray. Three circular, mottled recesses in the center for teapot, sugar and creamer. Brown stipple ground, with deep relief foliate scroll, fruit and mask heads. Cobalt rim. Turquoise reverse with three stilt marks inside the foot. Maker''s marks including ''1538'' on the foot. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Slight wear to the recesses. Kiln effect: slight staining in places to the reverse. 11.25ins by 17.25ins wide
