Victorian, circa 1880 Majolica begonia platter decorated with two white flowers, on overlapping begonia leaves, on cobalt ground. Ochre rim and handle at either end. Green wash to reverse with three stilt marks. Good. No restoration. No cracks. Tight hairline to rim. Bruise to rim. Flake to interior and a couple of small flakes to the rim. Very slight wear to interior. Kiln effect: kiln soot caught in the glaze; some crazing to interior and reverse. The foot is slightly mishapen, causing it to wobble a little. 7.75ins by 11.25ins wide
