Victorian, circa 1870 Majolica circular bread platter (possibly the base to something) with mottled center and surrounded by wheat ears laid on brown ground. Ochre bands around the rim and mottled center. Turquoise reverse. Three stilt marks inside the foot rim, along with impressed ''12'' mark and painted ''132''. Bears characteristics of the Brown Westhead Moore & Co factory. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Some wear to the center. Kiln effect: a few pieces of kiln detritus to the front. 13.75ins diameter
