Large, unusual Limoge porcelain hand painted serving platter. This is the first rectangular shape serving platter made by Limoge I have ever had. Painted in one of the most popular designs of the late 19th century this large piece is brimming with red, green and purple grapes and flowing green vines. The back round is a shade lavender. The rim is a deep gold in very good original condition with virtually no wear. Fresh from a local Brooklyn estate. Fully marked CFM GDM France, Mark #2. 15 3/4" x 10". Price 425.
