We are pleased to offer this large and heavy oriental platter. Marked on the back with 3 impressed characters, the letters s and o and the number 1. The platter is either ironstone or porcelain, based on the weight could very well be ironstone. Superb condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. The length is about 18 1/2" and its about 13 1/2" wide. It tapers upwards to a height of 2 3/4". Central theme of a pagoda and pond in blue and white. This is English in origin I believe.
