Antique Hand-Painted Porcelain Cake Plate Circa. 1860 England. Hand-painted porcelain cake serving plate. Fine flower bouquet in center. Cobalt blue borders with ivory cartouche inserts, delicate gold decoration, molded gadrooned and scalloped edge. Some wear in applied gold, a few very minor chips on bottom foot rim, consistent with age. No maker's mark. Very often, only one or two pieces in a large set receive the maker's mark, I suspect this is the situation with this item. In excellent condition. Measures 11 inches wide, 8 1/4 inches deep and one inch high.
