Victorian, date cipher for 1862 or 1888 Wedgwood Majolica plate decorated with a sunflower in a basket. Brown, ochre and green glazes to the front. Cream reverse with three stilt marks. Impressed maker''s marks inside foot ''WEDGWOOD'', letter ''O'' and date cipher ''?BQ'' for 1862 or 1888. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Some small flakes to rim/under rim. Very slight wear to front. Kiln effects: slightly stained crazing to the front and reverse; some green glaze run from the rim. 8.5ins diameter
