Victorian, date cipher for 1872 Wedgwood Majolica plate with yellow reticulated basketweave rim around green vine leaves and grapes. Deep cobalt central band with yellow basket motif and four green leaves and grapes. Good molding and bright colorful glazes. Cream reverse with impressed maker''s marks ''WEDGWOOD'' and date cipher ''ZHA'' for 1872 inside the foot. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Small flake to the rim. Slight wear to the rim and cobalt center. 9ins diameter
