Circa 1900 Villeroy & Boch Majolica wall plate with shaped and pierced rim. Decorated with three flowering water lilies in the center, surrounded by a border of lily pads around the edge. Cream ground and reverse. Three stilt marks to reverse with impressed maker''s marks ''VBS MADE IN GERMANY'', ''1478'' and ''9'' inside the foot rim. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Minor flaking to the lily pad edge. Very slight wear to the front. 6.75ins high
