Circa 1900 Villeroy & Boch Majolica wall plate with shaped rim. Decorated with a red lobster on creamm ground, surrounded by a border of lily pads around the edge. Cream reverse with three stilt marks. Impressed maker''s marks ''VBS'', ''1687'' and ''7'' inside the foot. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No flakes. Very slight wear. Kiln effect: craze line in the glaze across the foot. 7.75ins diameter
