Circa 1900 Villeroy & Boch Majolica plate decorated with a blossoming branch and a turquoise fan with floral sprigs, both laid on a plate. Greek key type molding around the visible edge of the plate with turquoise impressed diamond pattern in the center. Turquoise reverse with three stilt marks. Impressed V&B monogram and ''284'' inside the foot. Generally good. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Some wear to reverse. Kiln effect: shrinkage lines in the glaze to the front and reverse. Slight retouching to one stilt mark. 9ins diameter
