Victorian, circa 1880 Minton Majolica oyster plate which features 6 shell shaped wells surrounding a circular centre well which is lined with cockles. Mottled ground version. The piece bears makers marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, ''1323''. English diamond registration mark for the date 03/01/1868. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1876. No book reference found. Good. No restoration. Slight wear to the central well. 1ins high, 9.1ins wide, 9.1ins depth
