Circa 1900 Large Majolica river scene wall plate, decorated with three swans and a water lily, with reeds in the background. Shaped rim with bulrush molding around the edge. Three stilt marks to reverse. Two hanging holes on the foot. Impressed maker''s marks including ''799'' inside the foot. Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Small flake to rim and another to head of one swan. Kiln effects: tiny glaze pops and a scattering of kiln detritus to the front. 11ins diameter
