Victorian, circa 1870 Large Majolica plate with mottled green, brown and ochre center surrounded by a border of strawberry leaves, flowers and fruits on brown bark effect ground. Ochre rope twist band around the rim. Mottled brown and cream reverse. Good. No cracks. No flakes. Slight wear to the center. Kiln effect: staining to crazing in the center. Repaired hairline to center. Restored rim chip. 10.5ins diameter
