Victorian, circa 1870 Holdcroft Majolica plate (or plant pot stand) decorated with four green pond lily leaves on a brown background of leaves. Ochre border around the rim. Mottled gray and brown reverse with stilt marks inside the foot. Generally good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Wear to both sides. Kiln effects: some small pieces of kiln detritus and brown glaze run to the front. 9.75ins diameter
