Date cipher for 1890 Gustafsberg Majolica plate decorated with brown and green overlapping leaves on a turquoise basketweave effect ground. Shaped rim. Light gray with pink wash and three stilt marks to reverse. Further three stilt marks and impressed maker''s marks ''Gustafsberg 90'' inside the foot. Generally good. No restoration. No cracks. Two tight hairlines to rim (front only). No chips. No flakes. Slight wear to the front. 8.5ins diameter
